Welcome to the official Slice of Life⢠Disability Film Festival website for 2009/2010!. Thanks to everyone who took part in the festival this year. We hoped you enjoyed it as much as us. We had record of numbers of people through the tent this year. We tried to provide more hands on opportunities this year as well as the always enjoyed Petty Pool Trust films.
The Petty Pool Trust would like to say a big thank you to Jimmy Jib Vistas for providing some amazing equipment and shots, Panasonic for the beatiful HD cameras and monitors and Reflecmedia for the specialised green screen setup. PKE lighting provided broadcast lamps and stands that helped us bring the venue to life.
Our workshops this year were led by Gary Williams (director) who kindly provided his time to give all our visitors a valuble opportunity to meet an industry director as well as Mark Garside, a seasoned production manager.
You can view footage taken on the day by both staff and visitors on the gallery page as well as some fantastic stills.
'Slice of Life' is managed through 'The Petty Pool Trust', whose staff and students run the days screenings and also provide valuable information about the trust itself.
'Slice of Life' is proud to take part in Disability Awareness Day whose organizers always host a fabulous event.
If you missed the festival last year or want to see it again head towards the gallery page to see the films shown at the festival and the films made on the day.
